Sketch Compilation!

I've been putting this off for months. There's loads and loads of papers here with doodles and sketches on them. Most of them will never see day light, but these lucky buggers stood out.

Confession...

I'm a recovering Jolie-o-holic. To be honest, it seemed like ages ago, but I've been 4 years sober (just kidding). At one point, she really was one of my obsessions. Perhaps “muse” would be a better word to use. Believe it or not, it all started in 1995 with my chubby ass seeing a commercial for Hackers. After that, I was hooked.

It wasn't so much the hair.. I mean, her style looked a bit like Moe Howard or a Romulan from Star Trek, but it totally fit her character. On the other hand, Angelina's facial features just stood out for me... and a good percentage of the male population. It was round and puffy (not to be confused with fat). Back in those days, her face was vibrant and full of life. Nowadays, she's still attractive, but there's a significant difference---the aesthetics shifted a bit. She might have gone under the knife a few times, especially in the nose area. She traded her curve for a point... and there was nothing wrong with the curve.

Surprisingly, I'm not really into her these days. Sure, she's an amazing actress and all, but it just seems like she lost something over the years. If I could pick a version of her to preserve, it would be definitely be Hackers. To me, that's the best she ever looked... Tomb Raider might be a close second.

The lady at the bottom is a friend of mine who recently had her hair cut short, so I figured, “Why not add her in the mix?”
